Montana INBRE is soliciting proposals for Major Research Projects, Pilot Research Projects, and Pilot Planning Grants in the areas of basic biomedical science, infectious diseases, chronic diseases, environmental health, public health, community wellness, and health-related challenges facing rural or Native American communities. Montana INBRE strives to develop a varied research portfolio that spans bench science, social science, and community engagement spheres and seeks to include all academic institutions across the Montana INBRE network.
Montana INBRE is excited to announce a Technology Access Grant program open to biomedical investigators to utilize participating core facilities located within Regional Alliance of INBRE Network (RAIN) participating states (Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, and Wyoming). An array of biomedical research projects may be supported, including metabolomics, biomarker analysis, transcriptomics, genomics, social science surveys and other social science projects, and/or bioinformatic and biostatistics support. Successful applications will receive funding to cover core facility costs for data collection and analysis, consulting, or student training.
Montana INBRE is soliciting proposals from participating institutions in the MT INBRE network for instrumentation, research supplies, educational and research infrastructure, and STEM/Health Science teaching materials. Infrastructure can include lab and teaching equipment, educational resources, software, and hardware that will enhance the biomedical research and teaching capacity at the applicant institution. Successful proposals will be funded up to $50,000 direct costs for the current grant year, which ends April 30, 2026.
