Montana INBRE is excited to announce a Technology Access Grant program open to biomedical investigators to utilize participating core facilities located within Regional Alliance of INBRE Network (RAIN) participating states (Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, and Wyoming). An array of biomedical research projects may be supported, including metabolomics, biomarker analysis, transcriptomics, genomics, social science surveys, and/or bioinformatic and biostatistics support. Successful applications will receive funding to cover core facility costs for data collection and analysis, consulting, or student training.
Montana INBRE is requesting letters of intent in advance of its annual Faculty Research RFP. Letters of intent are required for any proposal involving collaborations between multiple institutions and/or significant community engagement aspects. For all other project types, LOIs are highly encouraged to aid the program in planning but not necessarily required prior to submitting a proposal for Montana INBRE funding. Potential funding areas include basic biomedical science, environmental health, public health, infectious diseases, rural and/or Native American health disparities, and food security/sovereignty. Montana INBRE strives to develop a diversified research portfolio that spans bench science, social science, and community engagement spheres and seeks to include all academic institutions across the Montana INBRE network.
